The Bardstown’s Arts, Crafts and Antiques Fair is an Autumn tradition and favorite of locals and tourists alike. Over 200 artists and craftsmen set up booths in Bardstown’s beautiful, historic district, and thousands of eager visitors stroll the tree-lined streets in the crisp October sunshine to get a jump on holiday shopping. This celebration of arts and crafts happens October 13th to 14th, 2018, and is free and open to the public. In addition to discovering rare, unique gifts, enjoy great food and entertainment during the event. Arts, Crafts and Festival Activities

This year marks the 38th anniversary of the festival. Last year over 45,000 visitors attended the two-day event. This juried fair boasts over 200 talented local artists and craftsmen. Visitors can also learn more at fascinating art demonstrations throughoutArts and crafts fair jewelry  the weekend. The arts booths are set up around City Hall, Spalding Hall and surrounding blocks. Explore the handmade jewelry, pottery, clothing and woodwork on display along the beautiful historic streets.

Treasure hunting is hungry work and the festival has an expansive food court and beer garden to refresh shoppers. The city’s parks and Spalding Hall Lawn provide seating and delicious southern food choices. Sip cold beer in the shade of mature trees, with a pork chop sandwich and fresh corn on the cob. Past festivals have always included fun music and entertainment. Cool your heels while listening to a Bluegrass band, cheer on contestants competing on the local TV station’s Arts and craft fair under fall foliagegame show, or enjoy a lively dance performance.
